Options Trader

Darley Technologies is looking for an Options Trader to join our team in our Zug office. The ideal candidate has trading experience at a proprietary trading firm or market maker, possesses a strong quantitative background and is passionate about cryptocurrencies. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing trading firm with an entrepreneurial and innovative culture. 

As an Options Trader, you will report to the Head of OTC Trading and be part of a highly collaborative team that seeks to be a leading market maker in the cryptoverse. In this role, you will be tasked with executing successful strategies that will increase the overall profitability of our business.

What You Will Do

• Answer RFQ from our clients and counterparts
• Generate and implement innovative and profitable trading strategies
• Manage and optimize our intraday trading positions and risks
• Collaborate with Quantitative Researchers to improve pricing models and algorithms
• Closely monitor our trading algorithms

What You Need to Succeed

• University degree, preferably in Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or related
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in options market making or execution trading
• Capacity to communicate clearly with business partners and clients
• A deep understanding of cryptocurrency market and a strong knowledge of financial mathematics and pricing models
• Excellent quantitative problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Python is highly desired but not required
• English (written and spoken), German / French will be considered a plus
• Critical thinking to adapt to an ever changing environment
• Ability to spot and seize arising opportunities
